Day 1/2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi at 08.00hrs for the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern Frontier; arrival in Samburu will be by lunch time.  Transverse this dry teeming with wildlife, explore  and experience this wonderful national reserve. During your game drive you will discover rare wildlife species such the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich. Lunch, dinner and overnight will be at the spectacular lodge.

Day 3:   Aberdare National Park

Breakfast then proceed on to the Aberdare lunch is served at the base hotel before being transferred to the tree hotel for overnight stay. A special feature of the lodge is the floodlit watering hole where you can watch game from the balconies of the lodge throughout the night as a great variety of animals parade for a drink.

Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National park

Depart from Aberdare soon after breakfast and proceed on to Lake Nakuru. Lunch en route and we enjoy viewing the scenery all the way to the Pink lake referred so due to the numerous Flamingos. Lake Nakuru a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley is famous for its masses of flamingo's and the over 400 birds of other species found here. The panorama of the at times millions of flamingos from afar the lake appears ringed in pink which is quite spectacular. The Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. View the tree climbing lions and other mammals found here such as waterbuck, buffalo and baboons.

Day 5 /7: Maasai Mara

Breakfast then view game as we exit the park and drive further south via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at a Lodge. Explore the park as you search for the big five during early morning and late afternoon game drives.

The Masai Mara annexes the Serengeti on the Kenya Tanzania border and offers diverse variety of wildlife in such abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 95 animal and 450 bird species have been recorded here. The big five that is lions, rhinos, hippos, buffalos, elephants and other animals like the crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras,  warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopard, many kinds of antelopes. It is in the Mara that perhaps one of the most spectacular events of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the African savannah - lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

 

Day 8:  Lake Naivasha

After breakfast  depart from the Mara and drive on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Naivasha   in time for a delicious lunch. The remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure, with the opportunity of going on a nature walk, hiring a boat to take you to the famous Crescent Island, or simply relaxing by the swimming pool. Lunch, dinner and overnight at a lodge

Day 9/10 Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

After breakfast, drive via Nairobi past the scenic Athi Plains and into the bushy Maasai country of Amboseli National Park - a landscape dominated by the magnificent snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your chosen lodge. After lunch and a few hours of siesta or a swim in the swimming pool before afternoon game drive the foothills of Africa's highest mountain. On your second day here you explore the park with early morning and evening game drives. Whilst in the park, you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight will be at   a safari lodge

Day 11: Amboseli – Tsavo West National park

After an early breakfast depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between the capital city of Nairobi and Mombasa Coastal City on the Indian Ocean Coast . Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. You arrive at the   lodge in time for lunch. Late afternoon you experience a game drive after a siesta to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and a wide variety of antelope. Returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 12/13: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National park

We depart from the Tsavo West National Park soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. You view game as you exit the park and as you enter Tsavo East. The park is famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks that attracts elephants in the drier season and Aruba Dam as we view game. Explore the park during a morning and afternoon game drives. The terrain of Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the game is concentrated on the Galana River, which has abundant crocodiles and hippos similarly, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.

Day 14: Tsavo East – Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast, you return to Nairobi where the safari ends.

Depart from Aberdare soon after breakfast and proceed on to Lake Nakuru. Lunch en route and we enjoy viewing the scenery arrive at the Pink Lake referred so due to the numerous Flamingos. Lake Nakuru a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley is famous for its masses of flamingo's and the over 400 birds of other species found here. The panorama of the at times millions of flamingos from afar the lake appears ringed in pink which is quite spectacular. The Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. View the tree climbing lions and other mammals found here such as waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here

Breakfast then view game as we exit the park and drive further south via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at a Lodge. Explore the park as you search for the big five during early morning and late afternoon game drives. The Masai Mara annexes the Serengeti on the Kenya Tanzania border and offers diverse variety of wildlife in such abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 95 animal and 450 bird species have been recorded here. The big five that is lions, rhinos, hippos, buffalos, elephants and other animals like the crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras,  warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopard, many kinds of antelopes. It is in the Mara that perhaps one of the most spectacular events of the natural world takes place. After breakfast, drive via Nairobi past the scenic Athi Plains and into the bushy country of Amboseli National Park - a landscape dominated by the magnificent snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your chosen lodge. After lunch and a few hours of siesta or a swim in the swimming pool before afternoon game drive the foothills of Africa's highest mountain. On your second day here you explore the park with early morning and evening game drives. Whilst in the park, you will have the opportunity to photograph the animals against the wonderful backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight will be at   a safari lodge

Day 11: Amboseli – Tsavo West National park

After an early breakfast depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly half way between the capital city of Nairobi and Mombasa Coastal City on the Indian Ocean Coast . Mzima Springs, the chief marvel here is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. You arrive at the   lodge in time for lunch. Late afternoon you experience a game drive after a siesta to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino and a wide variety of antelope. Returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight
