Ruaha National Park is situated deep in the heart of the southern part of Tanzania. Ruaha is famous for its striking, rugged landscapes and abundant wildlife and unlike the northern.

The scenery is breathtaking and plenty of wild game are found in this solitary park.  In the park  you  view pride of lions, watch large herd of jumbos bathing or play all around. You may encounter over eighty elephants at a go. In addition the Ruaha predators on show, such as lions, leopards and cheetahs as well as wild dog 

The African Cape buffalo and elephant herds are found throughout the park but it is the park's capability to host species from both East Africa and Southern Africa together makes the park even more exciting to wild game enthusiasts. 

It is common to see Grant's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu in the same area as East Africa's regular species that include zebra, defassa waterbuck, impala and giraffe.  Other animal that you come across as travel through the park are sable, roan, hartebeest and the over 500 species of bird.
